About Me

I am a Bristol based musician and educator with a First Class Honours degree in Professional Musicianship and nearly a decade's worth of experience in the music industry. I have received expert tuition from tutors such as Kieron Pepper (The Prodigy), Vinnie Lammi (The Spice Girls), Darren Beckett (Brandon Flowers) and Pat Garvey (David Cross) as well as extra curricular private instruction from Ralph Rolle (Nile Rogers & Chic), Derrick McKenzie (Jamiroquai), Dave Elitch (The Mars Volta) and Gregory Hutchinson (Betty Carter).

I play a variety of musical styles ranging from Rock and Pop to Jazz and Avant-Garde styles either in my own band or freelancing for other artists. I have recorded recorded at some of the country's top studios such as Real World, J&J Bristol and Brighton Electric with producers such as Ali Chant (Perfume Genius), Dan Carey (Grimes) and John Parish (PJ Harvey). I have also toured around the country and Europe multiple times, playing spaces ranging from small pubs to 2000+ capacity venues as well as festivals such as Green Man, End of the Road, Pitchfork Paris and Haldern Pop.

Of course, when Iā€™m not on the road or in the studio, I help people augment their skills or start from scratch, teaching from my house in Bristol (BS6), conducting home visits and teaching online.
